With our products, we enable technicians all over the world to implement their projects every day. It doesn't matter whether it is a standard part from our wide range of products or a custom-made product: we supply the right part in testing and measurement technology.

From development and design to quality control and warehousing to sales, everything is carried out entirely in-house. Specialized and usually regional suppliers produce for us. The Schützinger family based in wonderful Stuttgart currently has around 30 people.

Your tasks

You can expect a wide range of tasks and varied activities in technology/design, such as:

  • Responsibility for the product compliance of our electrical products
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant EU directives and regulations (including CE, REACH, RoHS, WEEE, PFOA, ProdSG, IEC/EN 61010, conflict minerals, etc.)
  • Preparation, maintenance and review of: EU declarations of conformity; technical documentation and risk assessments
  • Communication with authorities, testing institutes and external consultants
  • Monitoring and evaluation of regulatory changes at EU level
  • Consulting and training of internal specialist departments (development, purchasing, quality assurance, sales)
  • Support with audits and certification processes
  • Supplier communication regarding material and substance compliance

your profile

  • Completed technical or scientific education and continuing education in the area of product compliance or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in Product Compliance/ Regulatory Affairs
  • Profound knowledge of: CE marking; REACH and RoHS regulations; conflict minerals; EU product safety regulations
  • Experience in dealing with technical documentation and standards
  • Analytical, structured and communication skills in German and ideally English working style
  • Safe use of MS Office and ideally compliance databases
  • Willingness to actively, continuously train and develop one's own abilities
